Sometimes you have to work with what you have and things have to be a little unconventional. This project was all of those! Working with the customer to fix some of the bigger issues and safety concerns before the house hit the market was key. We fully replaced the back steps and landing, fixed the front door landing and steps that were back pitched 4” towards the house, and did a little bit of interior work installing a new bathroom door and some miscellaneous trim.

This was an easy way to turn a dark and damp back porch into a space you want to hang out in! Took out the lilacs and the existing patio and made sure there was proper pitch and drainage with thanks to Glabach Land Management. Then we installed a free floating deck because the HOA did not allow for any part to be attached to the building or neighboring fencing. Finished up with a high quality Trex railing and topped it off with a color matched fascia skirt board to minimize critters from making the new patio into their permanent winter shelter.

Please don’t wait to take care of your home! Deferred maintenance can make a small problem into a much bigger one! Luckily this one wasn’t too bad and we were able to install this little landing and steps per the customers request and also help them clean out their barn with an entire dump trailer load taken away.

Customer called because their deck had fallen off the house in Guilford, VT. I guess there is a first for everything, this deck was fastened with eyelets and a piece of metal pipe to attach it to the house. After removing some siding and some rot replacement, we laid out the footprint of the deck and where the customer wanted the ramp and got to work. This cantilevered deck and 32’ ramp was topped with Golden Hour Trex boards and a white composite Trex railing. This came out great and ready for the next!

Nice little project incorporating a lot of different things. We started with finishing up some exterior painting that the home owner couldn’t reach, did some new flooring that was provided by the home owner and replaced the lower end of this kitchen to be finished by the very handy home owner as well! Nice little bathroom remodel for some great customers! Brought an outdated bathroom right down to the studs, reframed for a new shower insert with a built in bench seat, built a custom linen closet and opened up the space by moving the washer and dryer to the next room over. Big thanks to AB Plumbing Heating & Cooling and Shane Gangloff with Gangloff Electric for getting in and out and making this bathroom everything the customer was hoping for! The customer did their own painting on this one and with a few little touch ups and some trim paint it will be complete.
