How is Whitfield & Water getting ready for the May 20th opening? Check out the post below by one of our shops!

My husband sporting our newest T-shirts! We will have multiple employees walking around the property in these great T’s, sanitizing doorhandles and exteriors. We are also installing a disinfectant station and will allow 1 to 2 customers in the store at a time with PPE. Just a few measures we are developing to make sure you feel safe shopping at Water Street Jewelers starting on May 20!

Shop Safe, Shop Local, Shop Whitfield & Water!
Many of our merchants will be open on May 20th with the rest to follow over the next couple of weeks! We have been preparing for several weeks with coordinated zoom calls amongst all of our merchants to ensure we go above and beyond REOPEN CT's requirements to ensure the health and safety of our patrons and merchants. We have staff to sanitize surfaces throughout the complex, hand sanitizer at all entrances and more!

First Selectman Matt Hoey also said that Guilford currently has 91 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, and 7 have died.

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES.
Most of our shops and restaurants remain open. We respect everyone's will to hunker down but please support all local merchants. Many owners and their employees rely on all of us to feed their families. Stop by for gift certificates to be used later, order take out or take the time at home to write a favorable review on social media to support the many wonderful small businesses on the shoreline!
