We hear these all the time, so let’s clear a few things up.

❌ Myth #1: Solar destroys roofs
A properly installed solar system should not damage your roof. The real concern isn’t solar; it’s hiring an installer who cuts corners.

❌ Myth #2: Solar voids your roof warranty
Most major roofing manufacturers allow solar installations when installed according to their specifications. Solar has become a normal part of residential construction, and quality installers follow manufacturer guidelines.

❌ Myth #3: Solar panels degrade after a few years
All solar panels experience some degradation over time, but quality panels are designed to produce power for decades. Most premium panels carry 25-year performance warranties and continue generating energy long after that.
