⭐️Company Spotlight⭐️

Introducing one of our seasoned project managers, Kevin Andrews.

Grove City born and raised, Kevin doesn’t exactly do “slow days.” When he’s not out running projects with us, he’s a firefighter at Station 14 on the south end of Columbus—so yeah, handling pressure and showing up when it matters is kind of his thing.

At home, he’s outnumbered in the best way—living with his wife Katie and their two daughters, Ellie and Brynn. Most of his free time is spent either playing sports himself or being in the stands watching his girls do their thing. If there’s a game happening, he’s probably there… or talking about one.

What Kevin likes about the job? The freedom to work when he wants, the ability to make real money if you’re willing to hustle, and a team that actually makes the day-to-day enjoyable. (His words on the bosses were “meh married couple,” so we’ll let you interpret that how you want 😏)

Kevin brings a steady presence, real-world grit, and the kind of reliability you don’t have to question. He’s the guy you want handling your project when it actually matters—and around here, that makes him a pretty big deal.

⭐️Company Spotlight⭐️

Introducing one of the steady forces behind the scenes—Emilee Slaughter. Year two, and she’s not slowing down.

Born in Chicago, raised in Central Ohio—so she’s got just enough edge to keep things interesting, but still shows up and gets it done. Outside of Skyward, she’s an elementary school librarian and a full-time mom to her son, Riley. At home, she’s also got her 16-year-old Pomeranian, Xannie—blind, deaf, and somehow still tougher than most.

When she’s not working, she’s bouncing between creative phases with her son, traveling, and working on her Spanish (because apparently one full-time job and a child wasn’t enough).

What really matters though—she cares about the job. The people, the flexibility, all of it. But especially helping homeowners who are getting the runaround from insurance companies. She’s got no problem pushing back and making sure people get what they’re owed.

Reliable, consistent, and not here to mess around—we’re glad she’s in year two with us.

⭐️Company Spotlight⭐️

Introducing one of our seasoned guys, Landon Muncy.

Grew up right here, so he knows the people, the area, and exactly how to talk to customers without sounding like a robot reading a script.

Landon brings a ton of energy to the team—always smiling, always joking, and usually the reason someone’s laughing in the office. He’s the kind of guy who can walk into a house as a stranger and leave feeling like family. That ability to connect with people isn’t something you can teach… and it’s a big reason he’s such a key part of what we do.

At home, he’s got a full house—living with his fiancé, their daughter, and his two step children… plus a growing collection of pets that he somehow keeps convincing his fiancé are “a good idea.” 😅 And as if that wasn’t enough, they’ve got a new baby on the way this summer.

Between the chaos at home and the chaos at work, Landon still shows up every day ready to go—and ready to make it a good time while doing it.

He’ll tell you he loves this job because of the people… and honestly, we feel the same way about having him on this team. He’s a vital part of it, no question.

⭐️SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet one of the newest members of the Skyward team, Jacob Ott.

Columbus/Grove City local, Jacob brings a sharp, level-headed mindset from his role as a Systems Administrator at OPERS—someone who’s used to solving problems, staying calm under pressure, and getting things right the first time.

At home, he’s raising twin kids alongside a 120-pound Rottweiler, which says a lot about his patience, consistency, and ability to handle just about anything life throws at him.

Outside of work, he keeps things grounded—whether it’s shooting pool, taking care of his house plants, or making the most of time with his kids and finding ways to turn everyday moments into something memorable.

What stands out most about Jacob is simple—he genuinely cares. He’s someone people can trust, someone who shows up, and someone who takes pride in doing things the right way.

We’re lucky to have Jacob on the team, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

⭐️SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet one of the newest members of the Skyward team, Tim Noble.

Columbus local, Tim’s the kind of guy who doesn’t sit still for long. When he’s not here, he’s running forklifts and working at a smoke shop—so yeah, he knows how to handle chaos and keep things moving.

He lives on his own, keeps his circle tight, and spends his downtime gaming, getting outside, or just doing what he does best—talking. If there’s a conversation happening, Tim’s probably in the middle of it.

What sold him on Skyward? The freedom. No rigid structure, no babysitting—just the ability to work, make money, and still have a life. Add in a team that actually enjoys showing up every day, and it was a no-brainer.

Tim fits right in—and we’re just getting started.

⭐️SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Introducing one of our new project managers this year, Zach Harrison.

From Columbus/Grove City, Zach brings leadership experience and a fast-paced mindset straight from his role as a general manager at Buffalo Wild Wings—so handling chaos and keeping things running smoothly is nothing new to him.

At home, he’s a dad to four—Zachary (13), Hadlee (12), Matt (11), and Peyton (6)—plus their dog Thor, which means life is always moving and never boring.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him on the court playing pickup basketball or out on the field with slow-pitch softball—always staying active and competitive.

What he enjoys most about working at Skyward is the people, the flexibility, and the opportunities that come with it. Being part of a solid team while having room to grow? That’s the kind of setup he’s here for.

Zach brings leadership, energy, and a get-it-done mentality to the team—and we’re excited to see everything he accomplishes this year.
