1. Grinding & Chiseled Out: Raked out all the deteriorated, cracked mortar down to a solid surface.
2. Reset & Level: Re-bonded loose bricks and reset the heavy limestone capstones.
3. Tuckpointed: Packed fresh, high-strength mortar tightly into the joints and struck them clean to seal out water.

We recently wrapped up this project in Grove City, taking down a heavily cracked and shifting brick planter box and completely rebuilding it from the ground up.
The Issue: Severe structural shifting and cracking had compromised the original brickwork, leaving gaps and instability against the structure.
The Solution: We demolished the failing masonry, constructed a solid block core, laid fresh brick, and reset the original capstones (which will get a thorough cleaning once everything is fully cured)!

Another solid transformation in the books by Bam Bond Masonry LLC!
We just wrapped up this comprehensive retaining wall, drainage, and concrete project designed to hold strong for decades. Here is a look at the heavy-duty specs built into this build:

New Concrete Pad: Freshly poured, clean concrete pad and landing tying the whole lower level together.

Vertical Reinforcement: Rebar tied in vertically every 2 feet for maximum structural integrity.

Horizontal Bond Beam: Integrated bond beam construction to tie the entire upper structure together.

Solid Grouting: Every core completely grouted solid—no hollow blocks.
Waterproofing: The backside of the walls was fully waterproofed to block moisture and protect against hydrostatic pressure.

Subsurface Drainage: Equipped with a perforated pipe and gravel bed system to channel water safely away from the foundation.

🚨 JUST FINISHED UP TODAY! 🚨
We just wrapped up this massive brick restoration wall today, and the before-and-after speaks for itself. Decades of weathering had the mortar crumbling out and heavy white efflorescence staining the face, leaving it wide open to water damage.
We didn't just patch it—we brought it back to life:
Deep Grinding: Ground out all the old, failing mortar joints to make room for a solid foundation.
Solid Tuckpointing: Packed the joints tight with fresh, color-matched mortar to seal the wall completely and bring back those crisp lines.
The Final Wash: Hit the whole wall with a heavy-duty Sureklean 600 wash to eat away the efflorescence and make that original red brick pop like a million bucks.
The wall is now 100% watertight, structurally solid, and looking brand new. Swipe through to see the night-and-day difference!
