🌬️ Friday the 13th Wind Storm- Roof Damage Response 🌬️

Our team at Sublime Roofing has been out across the area today assessing storm damage and installing emergency tarps after the high winds that rolled through on Friday the 13th.

Wind storms like this can lift shingles, damage ridge caps, and create vulnerable areas that allow water intrusion. Many times the damage isn’t visible from the ground, but even a few missing or loosened shingles can quickly turn into a leak.

🏠 If your neighborhood experienced strong winds:
• Check your yard for shingles or roofing debris
• Look for lifted or missing shingles
• Watch for water spots on ceilings or in attics

Our team is currently helping homeowners by:

🌨️❄️ When this snow finally decides to go bye-bye… here’s what to keep an eye on! 👀🏠

As things start to thaw (whenever that is 😅), melting snow can reveal roof issues that were hiding under all that winter wonderland. Here’s what to watch for:

• Water dripping inside near ceilings, walls, or windows
• Dark spots, bubbling paint, or new stains in your attic
• Icicles forming in the same spot over and over
• Water backing up at gutters or spilling over the edge
• Wet insulation or damp smells in the attic

This is often the time when ice dams and slow leaks show up — even on roofs that “look fine.” If you notice anything suspicious, don’t wait… give us a shout before it turns into a bigger problem.
