This is what happens when leaves sit in a gutter long enough to stop being leaves. 🍂🌱

That dark material is not just dirt. It is decomposed organic debris that started turning into compost inside the gutter. Once little sprouts and roots get involved, everything starts binding together into one long root-bound mat.

That is why this section comes out looking like a strip of grass or topsoil instead of regular gutter debris.

A gutter is supposed to move water away from the home. Once it starts holding compost, roots, sludge, and plant growth, it is no longer just a clogged gutter. It is turning into a little rooftop garden where drainage should be happening.

This is why Gutters First documents the work. Some problems do not make sense from the ground until you see what is actually sitting inside the gutter.

Ninja Bunny said, “That’s for the cat!” 🥷🐰🐈

This one starts off like a normal indoor clip, then instantly turns into a full David vs. Goliath-style VFX showdown.

A giant green rage monster shows up ready for war, but Ninja Bunny steps in completely unfazed and handles business with one hit. Dust settles, the room survives, and the cat officially gets justice. 😂

This is a parody-style comedy edit, built for fun, action, and Ninja Bunny energy.

Old Cougar Paws vs. fresh Cougar Paw pads 🐾

This is one of those little maintenance things that matters way more than people realize.

When you are walking steep roofs, traction is not a luxury. Those pads are basically the “tires” under your feet. Once they start wearing down, the grip is not the same.

They are not cheap, but neither is falling.

Take care of your gear so your gear can take care of you. That applies to the boots, the pads, the ladders, the blowers, the cameras, and everything else that helps get the job done safely and professionally.

This is part of the behind-the-scenes side of Gutters First. The roof footage looks cool, but the preparation is what makes the work possible.

A lot of people only see the roof shots, the cleanup, and the water flow proof. What they do not always see is everything that has to come together behind the scenes to build a gutter cleaning business the right way.

This album is a piece of that process.

From the new yard signs, business cards, and door hangers to the overall presentation and messaging, this was about tightening up the Gutters First system so homeowners can recognize exactly what we stand for before we ever step onto the property. Clear communication matters. Strong branding matters. Visual proof matters. The whole system matters.

Big shoutout to Tom and Kara at Minuteman Press: Columbus for helping bring this together, to my daughter Beautiful for being part of the moment, and to Ninja Bunny for capturing the photos through the whole process. This is what building something real looks like when family, presentation, and purpose all meet in the same room.

Gutters First is not just about gutter cleaning. It is about proof, consistency, exterior home maintenance, and doing the work in a way people can actually trust.

This one came in as a simple gutter cleaning call, but the issue was not leaves. 🍂

The downspout elbow had been pieced together with 2-inch CPVC underground, and it was fully deteriorated. That one weak connection stopped the entire drainage path.

What we did:
• Exposed the line and cut out the failed section
• Installed a proper elbow connection
• Primed and glued the joints correctly
• Verified flow was restored and carrying runoff away toward the curb

This is why downspout checks matter. Gutters can look fine, but if the line cannot move water away from the house, the system still fails.

Everything starts at the gutters. 💧

🏠🍃 Reverse curve gutter guards or not, this job still told the real story from the roofline.

This one was in Dublin, Ohio on a two-story roof with 12/12 and 10/12 pitch. The gutters themselves were not loaded up with debris, but the trees towering over the house had the entire roof covered in leaves. 🍂🌳

That is what a lot of people do not think about. Gutter guards do not change the fact that leaves can still pile up all across the roof. And on a house this tall and this steep, that is exactly why a lot of people did not want to touch this job. 😳📈

Without actually getting on top, you are left trying to wrestle a 40-foot ladder through trees, bushes, and uneven terrain just to fight for access. That is a whole different kind of job. 🪜🌲

One clogged downspout elbow, one clean blast, and the whole problem comes flying out. From the ground, everything can look fine. But once that water path is blocked, the gutter system cannot do its job the way it should.

That is why Gutters First documents the work.

We do not just say it was clogged.
We show it.
We do not just say it is clear.
We give proof when possible.

Two stories up on a 12/12 pitch with the Ryobi backpack blower, Meta glasses rolling, and custom music behind it all. 🏠🎥🍃

This one is a full 4 minutes of real gutter cleaning from the roof. I am taking my time, blasting leaves out, stopping for before and after pictures, and making sure the proof is there.

A lot of customers do not want to watch all the footage, and I get that. Some just want simple before and after pictures. Some only want the after shots. That is why I make sure the documentation is covered either way. 📸
