Lorraine Corr, 85 of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Lorraine lived a life characterized
by kindness, service, and devotion to her family, friends and community. She will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of humor and her remarkable ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John “Joe” Corr to whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and enduring love.
Lorraine is survived by her cherished children, Suzanne Corr of Providence, Rhode Island, Geoffrey Corr (Kelly Egan) of Charlestown, Rhode Island and Sharon Corr of Westerly, Rhode Island and Naples, Florida. She is also survived by her brother Wayne “Buzz” Crandall of Englewood, Florida and Mickey (wife Rose) of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Lorraine was a proud grandmother to Jacob Fernstrom, Meghan Fernstrom, Clark Califf and Janna Califf.
Lorraine enjoyed a distinguished career in Human Resources at Pfizer Inc. in Groton, Connecticut, where she was respected for her professionalism, integrity and dedication.
Following retirement, she devoted herself to service within her community. As a faithful member of Saint Mark‘s Episcopal Church in Marco Island, she served in many ministries, including the Altar Guild, Prayer Shawl Ministry and Saint Mark’s food pantry, Our Daily Bread. Lorraine was an avid reader and participated in many book clubs. She had a great appreciation for music and enjoyed being a part of Saint Mark’s bell choir.
A talented quilter and baker, Lorraine expressed her love through the gifts she created and shared with others. Her great passion for sewing led her to teach students at Manatee Middle School , where she inspired creativity, confidence, and appreciation for the art of sewing. Whether creating quilts or baking for family and friends, Lorraine approached every endeavor with warmth and enthusiasm.
Above all, Lorraine treasured her family. Her legacy is one of compassion, service, creativity, and unwavering love . Lorraine kindness and generosity will forever bear the imprint of her spirit.
A funeral mass will be at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Marco Island, Florida at 11 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Instead of wearing traditional black, the family invites attendees to wear a shade of blue to match Lorraine’s eyes.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mark‘s food ministry, Our Daily Bread.
