A few more projects the team has finished up over the last week!

- new patio with firepit pad

-large modern style bluestobe walkway entries using natural thermal bluestone

- new oak stained railings with wrought iron balusters

- restored bluestone steps/landing with reprinted brick facing

- and a new paver walkway entry!!

The next batch of jobs are already in progress and will be posted this coming week!!!

Well it's been a little while since we've updated on the work we've been producing! Our team here at Royal Stoneworks has been quite busy finishing jobs up, getting back on track and getting on to the new ones!!!

Over the last month and a half the team has knocked out :

4 bathroom remodels
1 basement remodel
1 fireplace remodel
1 chimney repoint
1 walkway and landing
1 walkway and wall
1 small pad and small lake side retaining wall
1 granite stair restoration
1 new granite steps and landing
Finished veneering of a massive pool side patio wall with granite pad (carryover from the fall)
Finished a custom outdoor living bathroom addition
And they are now currently halfway thru three new bluestone walkways, remodeled carpet to stained oak stairs with matching railings with black iron balusters!!! Two more start this week once we finish these!

Things are looking great and we are excited to get the ball rolling even more!

We continue to roof rake today (not shoveling the roof) and through the rest of the week. Please text us to get on our list. Heavy snow is not good for your roof and with another storm predicted to be even heavier, let's get your roof cleared before the weekends potential 2 foot snow storm!

We are also doing driveway cleanups from the previous storm if you need us!

Just finished up this new walkway and steps just in time for the first big snow storm! We tarped off the bed and wall so we can head back after the snow falls to uncover and finish up building the fieldstone wall/tear drop garden bed and granite entry!

I also added the design concept we created for the client before we started to give them a clear idea of what we were building. It's shaping up nicely to the design! Once we finish I'll post pictures of the process to show how we structurally designed this. The field stone wall is half drystack Pennsylvania flat stone and half thin veneer that we cut and created using the fieldstone from the drystack portion, the result was a seamless merge that blends the two structural styles! We first poured a 1ft thick footing wall and 8in slab rebar reinforced, tied together and anchored into the hill directly below the granite landing. (This was so that the weight of the granite landing goes straight into the earth and not laterally into the wall.) This extended out 10ft, then the wall turned into a 3ft thick drystack fieldstone wall. The wall leads down and wraps around following the walkway until it meets back with itself. I'll post pictures after we finished it up!
