Want to enjoy a native alternative to mums that will come back each year?

🌱Plant asters! Beautiful color at this time of the year, and crucial food source for pollinators, towards the end of the season.

✅We have many different species of asters available for both sun and shade.

✂️Are asters feeling too tall for your space? Cut them back hard in July!! They will grow out and still give you a gorgeous full bloom at a shorter height.

👏🏼It is not too late to plant our stock! Still plenty of time to plant.

We are fully stocked, perennials, shrubs, trees, grasses, ferns.

We are open 7 days a week, Monday-Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4.
We’ll be open through the end of October, if not in November as well.

🍁Want brilliant reds in your garden? We have many options! Please DO NOT plant invasive plants as they can threaten ecosystems by growing in dense thickets and crowding out native species. Don't trust sterile or seedless ones either.

Instead, plant NATIVE options with red color such as:
🌱Aronia arbutifolia, red chokeberry
🌱Cornus spp. dogwood
🌱Fothergilla gardenii, dwarf fothergilla
🌱Photinia melanocarpa, black chokeberry
🌱Rhus aromatica, fragrant sumac
🌱Rhus typhina, staghorn sumac
🌱Vaccinium corymbosum, highbush blueberry

🫐 Our favorite right now? Blueberries-they are starting to turn bright shades of red and they are gorgeous! Enjoy fruit in the summer and brilliant reds in the fall. 🫐
