PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: OAK PARK

Oak Park is a purpose-built fine dining destination along Des Moines’ Ingersoll Avenue, blending Prairie-style architecture with warm, highly detailed interiors and a strong connection to the surrounding neighborhood. The project features expansive window-lined dining spaces, private event rooms, custom millwork and w**e displays, an intimate bar, Chef’s Table, and a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen.

Designed around Oak Park’s locally driven culinary experience, the restaurant extends beyond the building itself with an adjacent culinary garden and edible prairie that supply seasonal ingredients directly to the kitchen.

On every new build, there’s a stage where the project is mostly dirt, rock, and concrete. It may not be the most exciting part to look at, but it’s one of the most important. A strong foundation is what supports a building for decades to come, and getting it right from the start makes all the difference.

Atlantic Animal Health Center is a hub for small animal care in SW Iowa, and we’re proud to help bring their vision for a new facility to life.

With the concrete work complete, the project is officially going vertical. Next up: wood framing and structural steel.

You never know what you’ll find during the demo phase of an existing building, but this isn’t our first rodeo. That’s why we have systems, contingencies, and a backup plan setup for nearly every scenario to protect the owner and their project.

Monsoon Center is coming along and will be complete in the next few weeks. Featuring some great finishes we’re excited for you to see.

Project update from Windsor Commercial 🧱

Brick sets the standard. It may not be used as often anymore, but it’s timeless, durable, and a classic look. Excited to move this project towards the finish line and see it take shape, one brick at a time..

Most of the time we build - sometimes we don’t. 👊

Grandview Christian School Update 🏗️
The building structure is up, and glazing system installation is underway. Inside, crews are hard at work on MEP rough‑ins—Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. Think of MEP as the building’s organ systems, keeping everything functioning exactly as designed. Progress continues!

❄️ Cold weather. Tight schedules. High standards. 🛠️
Prefabricated wood framing helps us work faster, reduce waste, avoid rework, and lower risk—delivering real value on commercial projects, even in January.

When the scale and design are the right fit, precast wall panels can significantly accelerate schedules ⏱️, reduce on‑site trades 👷‍♂️, and enhance durability and longevity 🏗️💪. Upfront coordination is key 🧠📐—but there’s nothing better than watching the pieces fly into place 🚧🧩.
