Grandview Christian School Classroom Addition expands the Des Moines campus with a two-story, 45,000 SF educational addition. The project includes 17 new classroom and learning spaces, offices, assembly, restrooms, support spaces, circulation equipped with lockers, along with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler systems. A major component to this addition is a tornado shelter designed and rated for a EF-5 tornado standard.
Site work includes grading, utility improvements, sidewalks and related paving, landscaping, and parking coordination.

On every new build, there’s a stage where the project is mostly dirt, rock, and concrete. It may not be the most exciting part to look at, but it’s one of the most important. A strong foundation is what supports a building for decades to come, and getting it right from the start makes all the difference.

Atlantic Animal Health Center is a hub for small animal care in SW Iowa, and we’re proud to help bring their vision for a new facility to life.

With the concrete work complete, the project is officially going vertical. Next up: wood framing and structural steel.

The building structure is up, and glazing system installation is underway. Inside, crews are hard at work on MEP rough‑ins—Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. Think of MEP as the building’s organ systems, keeping everything functioning exactly as designed. Progress continues!
