Just wrapped up a pond that was leaking in liberty Missouri this past week,This customer had this pond built 2 years ago and the pond did not have a clay liner in the bottom of the pond as well as the dam had very little to no clay, first step of this project was mucking out the pond, step 2 was excavating clay to do the liner and the re core 3rd step was lining the pond with 3ft of clay and packing each foot of material with a sheep’s foot roller to insure a water tight seal 4ft step was re core on the pond dam a bucket witdth wide with the excavator and digging down 3ft below water level and replacing the material with clay and packing each foot of material up to the top of the dam. This customer wanted 6 inch rock all the way around the pond for an aesthetic look as well it serves a very big purpose for soil erosion at the base of water level over time. Also did a small water fall so the customer could see the water fall from his porch at his beautiful home.
