How do you do addition by subtraction? Pruning! This customer had a crepe myrtle that was growing into his roof and had gotten out of control. Cross limbs. Overcrowding. Those can all invite disease. It can be tempting to just crepe murder them and cut them back to almost nothing. But selective pruning is perfect for the health of the tree and preserves the shape without causing them to go crazy trying to regrow.

It doesn't need to be a big project to make a big difference. This client wanted a better solution for storing his trash cans. Something that would look nice and be smooth to use. A simple bricklay pattern paver pad with some block edging makes a huge difference in both form and function!

Sometimes it can be tough to get grass to grow well... or at all. Areas with heavy shade and high drainage flow are spots that any type of turf grass will struggle or die out completely. Sometimes the best solution is to go in a different direction completely, like this client who had that exact issue. We went with a larger mulch bed and fieldstone edging to turn a bare spot in the lawn into a beautiful space!

Being real for a moment. The winds today played havoc with this pine straw job. This picture was from literally 5 minutes after I had just fixed this bed from where it had blown away... just to blow away again! It can be frustrating at times, but we just fix it and get the job done! Does your yard need a refresh after the winter? We get it done, rain or shine... or wind!

This entire area was empty when the customer moved in! That wall was there, but there was nothing but empty space behind it. Turns out it was a perfect area for a water feature!

10 green giants came down on a neighbor's driveway, but we took care of that. Thankfully neither neighbor had any damage other than the fence! If you need some help with downed trees, let us know. We're out here!
