This poor friend has been relocated about 6 times this afternoon. I'm working elsewhere in the plant nursery to give it a break. We have several around the house and the make huge webs in the evenings... when we leave for the gym in the mornings, the one by the front door is often eating something.

People want to automatically be scared of spiders, but they are way more scared of us. This guy is all hunkered down and tired now from constant retreat, but is bigger than a quarter when it's spread out. It's chonky body is almost the size of a dime!

We've had so much rain here in Indiana this summer.... spiders are the good guys, eating the mosquitoes and gnats coming out of the damp and flooded areas.

Whew! This has been A WEEK! Tomorrow will be a HUGE market day for us... so much produce had to be picked due to all the rain, so be prepared to stock up on your favorites!
.. and FINALLY the chanterelles have began to show up! They are two weeks late because it was so dry, but they are just now starting to pop. I will have a few tomorrow and hopefully bunches next week.

We WILL HAVE GREEN BEANS! Lots! We've been getting asked every week and the second round finally came in. I've included our third round in the pictures, loaded with blooms for future harvest. Bonus pic of the okra plants that are doing amazingly... okra soon!

Here is a list of everything we will have:
- red and yellow tomatoes
- salad tomatoes
- romas
- cucumbers
- jalapeños
- bell peppers, mixed colors
- mini bell peppers (they're so cute!)
- onions
- garlic
- zucchini
- yellow squash
- cantaloupe
- seedless watermelon
- small yellow watermelon
- zestar apples
- canner tomatoes
- bouquets
- I probably forgot something!

The melons are coming from our friends down in Ripley County and they are delicious! I'm not usually a fan of seedless watermelon; I prefer regular ol' seeded, but these are gooooood!!!!

I know everyone missed me last week and enjoyed seeing Thomas working with my mom, but I'm back and ready to go!

You know what takes forever? Sorting and grading produce for market. Don't worry, you're all worth the effort it takes, even during the weeks when it's 100 outside.

- cucumber
- zucchini
- yellow squash

Okay friends and customers, we have so many beautiful flowers coming in now that I have to make it a point to have bouquets made ahead of time this week (and for the foreseeable future) for the Greenwood Indiana Farmers Market !!!

If you'd like to pre-order a $10 mixed bouquet, please send me a message or drop a comment! I don't know if I can accommodate specific requests, but each one will have 8-10 stems with filler and accents.

We have just about everything right now!
We enjoy making bouquets while we're chatting at the market with people, but they sell about as fast as I can make them! This way, you'll be guaranteed a bouquet.

Our $5 small bouquets will be available at the market still.

I'll update available produce tomorrow 😀

Thanks for your continued support! Remember you can also oder a weekday bouquet on my Market Wagon profile!
