In this week's episode of Through the Lens, this kitchen project brings together timeless cabinetry, coastal-inspired details, and beautiful natural movement through a collaboration with Open Door Cabinetry and Design.

The countertops feature Vicostone Matarazzo, adding a soft, sophisticated look with subtle veining that complements the bright white cabinetry and light wood flooring throughout the space. The crisp countertops are paired with a vibrant blue backsplash, creating a fresh pop of color while keeping the overall design bright and inviting.

From the spacious island to the extended perimeter countertops and raised peninsula, every surface was designed to balance style with everyday functionality. The result is a welcoming kitchen that feels both polished and comfortable—perfect for cooking, entertaining, and gathering with family and friends.

In this week's episode of Through the Lens, this project brings together two beautiful spaces with completely different personalities, both centered around natural stone.

Inside the home, the kitchen features Taj Mahal Quartzite, adding a warm, timeless look that works beautifully with the natural wood cabinetry and exposed wood ceiling beams. The soft veining throughout the stone adds just the right amount of movement while keeping the space bright and inviting. The large island creates plenty of room for gathering, with the quartzite continuing across the countertops and up the full-height backsplash for a seamless, elevated finish.

Outside, the entertaining space takes a more dramatic turn with Fantasy Brown Marble. The sweeping gray, white, and earthy veining of the marble makes a statement across the outdoor kitchen, complementing the stone base and wood structure surrounding it. With multiple grills, plenty of counter space, and seating for guests, this outdoor kitchen was designed to be just as functional as it is impressive.

From the warm, classic feel of the indoor kitchen to the bold natural movement of the outdoor space, this project is a great example of how the right stone can completely transform a space while tying all of the design elements together.
