The community geothermal project in Vandalia continues moving forward, and now we want to hear from you!

Join us at Charters Patio on September 8th, 9th, and 10th from 6–9 PM for a free taco and nacho bar, drinks, and a chance to learn more about the project and what it could mean for the Vandalia community.

We’ve completed the test borehole and are excited about what’s ahead — but community involvement is an important part of taking the next steps.

Come grab some food, ask questions, share your thoughts, and see what community geothermal could look like right here in Vandalia.

Installed Energy is proud to have been part of the early groundwork for the Vandalia Community Geothermal project by drilling the test hole used to evaluate the site’s geothermal potential.

This important step helps provide the data needed to guide the design and feasibility of the proposed geothermal network. We’re grateful to work alongside partners like Supplied Energy, whose pipe materials and project support have helped move this initiative forward.

We’re excited to see the continued collaboration, innovation, and local expertise shaping the future of community geothermal in Vandalia!

We recently completed drilling for a 4-ton geothermal heat pump in Glen Carbon, IL.

For this project, our team handled the drilling, loop tie-in, and interior piping to the unit. We offer an à la carte menu of geothermal services, so you can choose exactly the level of support you need based on the project.
