💧 RestorER Property Services – Call-Out, Estimates & Emergency Policy 💧
We charge a call-out and diagnostic fee for ALL estimates, because professional plumbing work requires time, expertise, and safety precautions. Here’s why:
🚨 Safety & Expertise First – Many jobs involve tight or hazardous spaces, and every estimate uses our plumber’s skill to diagnose and recommend solutions.
📅 Scheduling Matters – Estimates are for work you plan to schedule within 7 days. Requests for “potential work” outside that window are treated as consultations, which require a separate paid call with no written estimate.
💼 Fees allow us to cover and maintain:
• Professional expertise and ongoing training
• Research and planning for each estimate
• Equipment, tools, and maintenance
• High safety standards
• Business overhead required to provide reliable, professional service
💰 Multiple Estimates – Each additional estimate is charged separately, since it requires double the work.
⚡️ Same-Day & Emergency CallOuts - These requests are billed at time-and-a-half due to the client's need for immediate scheduling and urgency. They often require our plumber to work late into the evening and reschedule other clients. Not all work is hourly — some items have fixed pricing, which will be adjusted accordingly for same-day, emergency, or after-hours call-outs.
⏰ Business Hours – Please reserve non-emergency calls for Monday–Friday during regular hours. We do not consistently answer calls or texts in the weekend.
