Nothing like a summer night at the ballpark to celebrate our annual intern outing. We watched the Greenville Drive take on the Winston-Salem Dash, kicking things off with dinner before settling in to enjoy the game. A Drive win made it the perfect evening.

The past few weeks have been a great reminder of how important community is to us here at Harper. We were proud to sponsor the SJWD Discover Your Watershed event, supporting continued education around South Carolina’s critical water infrastructure. Our team also served alongside East Cooper Faith Network through the Fix-It! program, using our skills to make meaningful home repairs for a local homeowner in need.

We celebrated valued partnerships at the Harris Classic Golf Tournament, where clients and teammates were brought together for a great day on the course, and wrapped it all up with the Harper Olympics, an afternoon of games, food, and fun for our teams and their families. We are proud of the impact our employees are making on and off the jobsite.

We’re in the final stretch at Woodruff High School’s Spring Sports facilities! Crews are currently completing landscaping and site fencing, with final asphalt placement and pavement striping next.

Inside, all finishes are complete, including plumbing fixtures, Division 10 accessories, painting, millwork, flooring, and custom baseball/softball helmet cubbies and bat racks. The tennis courts are finished, and both interior and exterior signage are now in place.

Soon, these facilities will be ready for the Woodruff community!

Harper is proud to have delivered the new Southport Mulberry Branch WWTP.

This new 0.75 MGD wastewater treatment plant features comprehensive upgrades from headworks and process structures to site improvements and administration facilities. By leveraging 3D modeling, drone imaging, and an extensive value engineering effort, our team identified conflicts early, accelerated the concrete schedule, and enhanced overall project quality. We successfully developed 50+ value-engineering options to maximize value and reduce costs without compromising long-term operability.

We are also proud to share that this project was completed with more than 91,000 safe work hours, earning the Eagle Award for safety. This honor recognizes the extensive measures that were taken to protect the health and well-being of our teams.

This facility will play a critical role in serving the local community and meeting long-term environmental and regulatory needs. We are extremely grateful for the strong partnership with Brunswick County Utilities and Ardurra Group Inc that made this project possible.

We recently celebrated a major milestone at the Rowland WWTP Improvements Project. The team acknowledged a successful pour and leak test of the headworks structure, the installation of the IPS Wet Well and Valve Vault with associated piping, and the start of mechanical installations. It was a great opportunity to recognize the progress made alongside LKC Engineering and the Town of Rowland. The milestone was marked with a team gathering featuring chicken bog and steaks fresh off the grill.
