and I are so proud to have just installed our fourth Ascending Christ sculpture for Bon Secours. This piece has been one of the most meaningful works of my career—not only artistically, but spiritually. From the very first installation, this sculpture has carried a special place in my heart, symbolizing hope, renewal, and the promise of resurrection. What moves me most are the stories people have shared over the years—how, in moments of pain or uncertainty, they found comfort and strength through this image of Christ rising in peace. Knowing that this work has helped others connect with their Lord Jesus is the greatest reward I could ever receive.

The Strut.
This bronze piece was added to the collection at the They now have 3 pieces of mine and have a plan to add 7(!) more on the near future. I really have loved doing these birds. If you know any sportsmen who need a few turkeys for their yard… you know where to find me. 😛🦃

Sculpture in progress ⏳

Have you ever noticed Heron sculptures are a popular choice in gardens (not to get confused with the also popular pink flamingos 😉).

The Heron symbolizes numerous things in various cultures such as wisdom and good judgement, patience and good luck, purity and more.

Therefore making it a truly meaningful addition to any landscapes, parks, gardens, etc.

From pioneers to leaders, South Carolina has a rich history filled with inspiring figures. As a local artist and native to SC, I'm passionate about capturing my fellow sandlappers stories through my sculptures, and am proud of the ones I’ve been trusted to create thus far.

Whether it's a historical figure, a community leader, or a beloved local personality, I am thankful for the opportunities I have had to memorialize these heroes.

You may spot this Bobcat at The Reserve at Lake Keowe!

Fun fact about Bobcats that I learned (since I often do quite a bit of research before starting a sculpture) - they are pretty fast. More sprinters than distance runners, they can actually run as fast as 30 mph 🤯

This month marks 13 years since my time volunteering within the prison system. As an artist, my goal was to help those men find some passion and hone their artistic abilities. As a person of faith, my goal was to love my neighbors. Ultimately, however, I think I gained a lot more than I offered. It was a truly life-changing experience.
