Before pink, there was peach. 🍑

In the early 1990s, Charlotte Haley handmade peach-colored ribbons to raise awareness about breast cancer and distributed them in her community. The idea later helped inspire the pink ribbon that became widely recognized as a symbol of breast cancer awareness.

💕 This is my mom, and she's a two-time breast cancer survivor.

My mom has faced breast cancer not once, but twice. She's been through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, and I've seen firsthand the physical and emotional toll this disease can take, not just on the person fighting it, but on the entire family.

I'm incredibly grateful that my mom is still here with us today. I also know that not every family is as fortunate.

That's why Paint It Pink is so much more than a fundraiser to me. It's a way to honor my mom's journey, support others who are facing this disease, and help fund research that gives more families hope.

Throughout October and November, a portion of the proceeds from every painting project we complete will go toward breast cancer research through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Because behind every diagnosis is someone’s mom, daughter, sister, wife, or friend. And every one of those stories matters. 💗

🍂 Bring the warmth of Fall indoors.

Fall is full of some of the best color inspiration — warm neutrals, earthy greens, rich browns, cozy creams, and muted terracotta tones.

If you’ve been thinking about refreshing a room, consider colors inspired by the season:

🤎 Warm taupe or caramel for a cozy living room
🌿 Olive or sage green for a calm, natural feel
🧡 Muted terracotta or clay for a little warmth and personality

Paint It Pink is back! 💗

From October 1 through November 30, participating CertaPro Painters® businesses will donate a portion of every project to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help fund lifesaving research.

This year, we’re working toward a $165,000 goal—enough to fund 3,300 hours of research.
