Working with the operations manager, the superintendent is first and foremost responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. From there, the job site is the superintendent's to manage. It is their responsibility to provide clients with an excellent project experience. They are to maintain a professional relationship with architects, engineers, and building officials on behalf of the company. They will work closely with subcontractors and vendors and must represent the company well in these relationships. Various other responsibilities fall under the position, including but not limited to quality control, scheduling, and other day-to-day building activities.

Our team was excited to welcome our insurance broker, Tyler Woodall from The WIN Agency, to come in and provide us with an overview of Construction Insurance. Tyler walked us through some important topics to keep in mind to protect our customers and subcontractors from the risk associated with construction. NEW HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT: We would like to announce the addition of Garret Tomforde as COO. Garret brings 15 years of construction experience as a Project Executive, and we could not be happier to have him joining us during these exciting times for Marsh Bell. An alumnus of Cal Poly Tech, Tomforde comes to Greenville from California with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing and camping. We cannot wait to see the impact he makes for our company and the upstate community!

The year 2021 was eventful for Marsh Bell. We have new leadership after a much-deserved retirement, and our team got stronger with key additions of some genuine talent. We worked on some fantastic projects for customers old and new. And after calling Powdersville home for 37 years, we moved into our new downtown Greenville office. Our team would not have accomplished all that we have without a lot of help, so we want to thank our incredible partners and customers. We are excited about all that has happened this year, and we feel we are just getting started!
