Located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, with views of the Charleston waterfront, the Charleston Tech Center is a six-story Class A office building dedicated exclusively to housing tech and tech-related companies. The building’s exterior features 33,000 square feet of architectural precast cladding produced by Metromont’s Greenville, SC, manufacturing facility. The precast cladding panels incorporate unique graphic concrete details inspired by a technology aesthetic, as well as light and medium sandblast and medium acid etch finishes.
Metromont’s Greenville and Spartanburg, SC manufacturing facilities also constructed the adjacent seven-story, 236,000-square-foot precast parking structure, which provides approximately 800 parking spaces for employees and visitors to the Charleston Tech Center. er****on continues at the 301 West 6th Street Apartments and Parking Garage in Richmond, Virginia! Located on a 2.89-acre parcel adjacent to the James River in the Manchester neighborhood of Richmond, Phase 1 of the project consists of an 18-story, apartment tower above a precast parking garage. 301 West 6th Street will feature nearly 500,000 SF of precast concrete produced at Metromont’s Richmond and Wi******er, VA, manufacturing facilities. Congratulations to Greenville Vice President of Engineering Suzanne Aultman on being elected a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (ACI)! Being elected as a Fellow is a prestigious recognition of an individual’s contribution to ACI and to the concrete industry, and only a very small percentage of ACI members earn this recognition. The formal announcement took place at the ACI Spring 2026 Concrete Convention on March 29. In addition to being elected an ACI Fellow, Suzanne’s recent accolades include the Clemson University Civil Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award and the SC Society of Professional Engineers “Engineer of the Year” Award.

Produced by Metromont’s Greenville and Spartanburg, SC manufacturing facilities and located on a 34.85-acre site in Raleigh, North Carolina, Phase 1 of the NC Department of Health and Human Services’ Urban Park includes an 11-story, 460,000-SF office tower, central utility plant, and nine-level, 316,458-SF precast parking structure providing more than 1,000 spaces for employees and visitors. The parking deck also features a rooftop solar array, with 1,080 solar panels producing 840 MWh per year. This will save approximately 15% in annual energy costs.
