Our Annual Safety Conference brought IES safety leaders together to compare experiences, identify common challenges, and turn lessons from across the division into stronger practices in the field.

There’s more to a strong team than the people we see on the jobsite every day.

Our Shanahan Mechanical and Electrical, Inc team recently brought members and their families together for an afternoon of food, games, prizes, and plenty of time to reconnect at SME’s annual Family Picnic.

It was a chance to celebrate not only the people who help POWER our work every day, but also the families whose support makes that work possible.

A little mud never hurt anybody! 🤠

Our IES Portland team was back at the St. Paul Rodeo this summer, supporting one of Oregon’s longstanding traditions and getting pretty close to the action along the way.

From bulls bursting out of the chutes to riders hitting the dirt just feet from our IES signage, we were proud to have a front-row seat and an even bigger reason for being there: supporting the communities our members call home.

A new school year comes with a long list of supplies, and Shanahan Mechanical and Electrical, Inc stepped in to help make back-to-school a little easier for Lincoln families. 🎒

Our SME team recently supported the Kim Hudson Memorial School Supply Drive, helping provide local students with book bags, headphones, pencils, and other classroom essentials.

The effort builds on SME’s continued investment in Lincoln’s youth. From introducing elementary students to the skilled trades through classroom visits to helping middle schoolers explore future career opportunities, the team continues to find meaningful ways to support young people as they learn, grow, and consider what comes next.

We’re proud to see members of our IES Family continue showing up for the communities they call home. 👏
