Preparation
Before we can apply a floor coating, we need to prepare your floor so the coating can adhere to it. We do this by using shot-blasting or diamond-grinding techniques, sometimes combining them. We hook our grinders up to vacuum systems in order to minimize the amount of dust generated. Concrete Restoration
If your concrete has cracks, dips, or other such damages, adding a coating on top
won’t help. We restore your concrete by filling in cracks and smoothing out the surface before we apply the floor coatings. Base Coat + Chip
After preparing and potentially restoring your concrete floor, we mix and apply the base coat to it. Right after applying the base coat, we move on to the chips, in order to add color and texture to the floor coating. Setup
While we wait for the base coat to cure, we set up for the next part of the process, which typically takes about an hour. Scraping Floor
After the base coat has finished curing, we scrape and vacuum the floor to remove any residual flakes or chips that are vertical or loose. Top Coat
The last part of the process is applying the top coat, which is what will ensure that your floor coating will be able to resist damage and UV rays.
