On this project, our team removed the old kitchen doors and drawer fronts and replaced them with new ones, removed the decorative scroll trim from the crown molding, sanded the existing cabinet boxes and frames thouroughly and applied four coats of pre-cat lacquer.

Every home is different, and some require a little more attention to detail than others. This particular home had a large amount of exposed wood throughout the kitchen, so protecting the surrounding surfaces was especially important. We spent nearly a day and a half masking and protecting the home before beginning the refinishing process.

Without the proper preparation, applying a sprayed finish in a log home can be a disaster. We took extensive precaution on this house, masking every beam, every exposed wooden surface delicately to achieve a clean and durable distressed finish.

This was a special request from a client who wanted to rejuvenate the finish that have been on their cabinets for many years. Instead of simply applying another coat of topcoat we sanded every surface back thoroughly, and built up our signature lacquer, sanded away carefully at the edges to create a distressed look, and reinstalled.

Part of our service was creating a custom sample for the clients, getting it tweaked and approved before we began the restoration process.
