Job Title: Commercial Lawn Technician – Fertilization & W**d Control
Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Lawn Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll help maintain healthy, green, and w**d-free lawns for both residential and commercial clients. You’ll work outdoors, operate professional equipment, and deliver high-quality service while promoting the overall health of our clients’ landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn treatments following industry standards and safety regulations
* Diagnose lawn issues such as w**d infestations, nutrient deficiencies, and pest problems
* Operate and maintain spray rigs, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment
* Educate customers on proper lawn care practices and treatment plans
* Accurately document chemical applications and ensure compliance with local and state guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
* Work independently with strong attention to detail and efficiency
Qualifications
* Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field is a plus (not required)
* Ability to obtain (or currently hold) a pesticide applicator license — training provided
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
* Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
