Not going to lie.

This is my job.

It’s how I support my family.

So when I heard a storm cropped up in Rock Hill, SC, I was excited at the opportunities it may provide. What I saw when I arrived…honestly made my heart sink. Entire homes crushed by trees. A trampoline imbedded in the side of a house. Whole neighborhoods with every car wrapped in plastic and like an assembly line, being towed out of the neighborhood. Siding so smashed up if you blinked fast enough you might blow some of the remaining pieces off.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be here serving this community. I’ve had homeowner after homeowner tell me that I’m the only one that had taken the time to really talk everything through with them and make sure they understand the process.

We’ll get you patched up Rock Hill. Hang in there.

What is collateral and even more so, why does it matter on hail claims?

Collateral is the first indicator of damaging hail that we come across on inspections. Collateral can be found most commonly as dents in soft metals (aluminum and the like).

In short, the more collateral, the stronger the case is for approval on your claim.
