3 total days of work, and we’re all wrapped up on putting this front lawn back together; and leaving it a little better than we found it.

We addressed drainage issues by creating a swale through the front lawn, rebuilt the existing stacked stone wall, spread fresh mulch, redefined the bed borders, replanted several shrubs, and brought in quality topsoil to give the lawn a better foundation for healthy grass growth.

Started a new job today repairing this clients landscape after they had some major work done to their home.

Rebuilding a stacked stone wall, and fixing some drainage issues to restore / make the landscape look and function better than before. Stay tuned for some updates tomorrow.

Interesting details in a landscape can add subtle points of interest that elevate the overall design. Take this boulder, for example, which we carefully cut into the patio. At a glance, it may not be the first thing you notice, but after spending some time in the space, the craftsmanship and attention to detail begin to show. Its those small details, like the way rocks are carefully placed in a dry stacked stone wall or how metal edging slowly disappears into the grade that make a landscape feel thought out rather than simply built

We recently installed 6 landscape uplights, adding warmth, depth, and curb appeal to the property after dark.

We also installed 5 tons of river rock throughout the landscape beds, finished with clean metal edging for a crisp, defined look that will hold its shape for years to come.

The combination of landscape lighting, natural stone, and sharp bed lines completely transformed the space—day and night!

Not all landscape edging is created equal.

For this project, we wanted a clean, natural-looking edge that would also stand up to years of weather, maintenance, and everyday wear.

Instead of using a traditional metal or plastic edging, we took beautiful natural stone and set it into a concrete footer, creating a strong, permanent edge restraint that ties the landscape together while keeping everything in place.

It’s a little more work up front, but we believe in building things the right way — not just the quickest way. The result is an edge that looks natural, feels substantial, and is built to last for many years.

And of course, the job site inspectors had to stop by and check out our progress. 🐈‍⬛🐈

We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and had the chance to spend some time outside despite the heat.

There’s no better place to enjoy a summer evening than in a well thought out outdoor space. We recently wrapped up this natural flagstone overlay for a client who wanted a rough, textured finish that felt rustic and fit the character of their country home.

We also put together two custom planters and planted them with evergreen shrubs and drought-tolerant flowers. The elevated planters sit in one of the hottest areas of the yard, so we selected plants that can handle the heat while providing year-round greenery and height.

Metal edging, when installed properly, can be an amazing and affordable way to keep different landscape materials from mixing while also creating clean lines and sharp visual contrast.

We offer several edging options to consider, and all of them can work well depending on the application.
