🪳Juney JUNE BUG🪳

These buggers may be little but not only dive bomb your head and get tangled in your hair😲 They dive bomb lawns🌱 laying their eggs🥚that hatch within 3-4 weeks into hungry hungry larvae🐛 spawns👹 that will feed on the 🌱roots for 1-3 years😬before emerging to mate and die☠️
If you see these guys, you likely have grubs 🐛which can cause widespread damage to satiate their savage needs.

Though they are a nuisance 💯 the adults play a role to our ecosystem, I'm sure, being a vital food source to bats🦇 frogs 🐸 birds 🐦 and treats for Olive🫒and Otis💥

Either way... they can buzz OFF😑

Being a woman♀️ in a male♂️ dominated industry comes with its challenges➡️I physically cannot do everything a man can do...women just aren't genetically wired the same🧬and that's OKAY👌BUT it doesn't stop me from always having FUN pushing myself to the limits and keeping up with my team💪

The noxious🪾WEED🪾 showcased here is the very aggressive False Virginia Creeper. It's rapid growth can cause structural damage along with ecosystem problems by smothering native plants/trees from needed sunlight and nutrients.

⚠️Use Caution when removing/ pruning-the sap contains tiny fiberglass-like crystals that can cause itching, redness, mild blisters to sensitive individuals⌨️🤺

📣Shout out to ALL the Lady's who continue to overcome in industries where you have to push even harder...I see you😍

Either is ok BUT what's most important is to know🤔 The Precautions⚠️ one must take.

✅️Identification (some release toxins😬or injury)
✅️Proper removal to prevent spread(digging or pulling can spread)
✅️Strengthen turf with proper lawn care(thick turf eliminates areas for weeds to fill in)

⚠️Forager Friends: Some may have holistic/medicinal properties; however, many weeds look similar to others that can be toxic or even prohibited/illegal non-natives that can harm our ecosystem. It's extremely important to know the difference and to use CAUTION⚠️
