With Facebook being the number one way people reach out for recommendations I have noticed local pages for example the Greenfield Gaber, whenever someone asks for a recommendation the post is flooded with advertisements and recommendations for companies that aren’t local at all.

A business can also pay a marketing company to monitor those pages and put them out there whenever a service is requested.

Hancock County is currently one of the fastest growing in the state, Greenfield Gabber currently has more than 30,000 members imagine how many people those recommendations are reaching. 

Why does this matter?

This takes work away from your local workers,  it matters because your local workers live here and their kids go to school here and they coach youth sports here and they spend their money here and they care about what’s going on here.

Small businesses make up 44% of our economy nationwide, I imagine that number is much bigger in small communities.

A lot going on around here! We purchased a new piece of equipment a forestry mower it can mow trees 12 inches in diameter perfect for land clearing or cleaning up your woods and fence rows. We started a construction drive on a large land clearing project, finished up the storm shelter with concrete from Kramer Custom Concrete and took down a huge oak in between two house with every utility line you can think of running through it. If you have reached out for an estimate it is on my list, things have just been chaotic with the season starting but we are thankful! Thankful for spring, thankful for work, thankful for our customers and thankful for a great team that makes all this happen.

💥Exciting news💥

As most of you know, we “branched out” last year and took on some new projects, including building pools, retaining walls, hard scapes, storm shelters,room additions, concrete work, etc. 

After a successful year and building some really cool projects for people, we decided to go at it full time this year. We started a sister company called Fields General Contracting.

The website is currently under construction but it is starting to come together. The website is still fieldstreeservices.com since we already had an established website with reviews and did not want to start over with a new domain name.

Stay tuned for a new page with pictures and information.

Our goal is to work closely with our customers every step of the way from designing to a finished product being exactly what you want!

We are excited to see what kind of projects we can get into this year. If you are looking at doing something around your home or office, we would love the opportunity to earn your business.
