Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger with extraordinary courage.

25 years later, we honor their memory and strength and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

We will never forget. The whole world changed that day. 🇺🇸🗽

On Friday, May 29, 2026, Brad and Kara Harrington had the honor of visiting Delaware-Chenango-Madison-Otsego BOCES to present the T&K Harrington, LLC Scholarship, the Marlene Klock Memorial Award, to two deserving recipients.

Both young men plan to enter the workforce immediately after graduation. Blake Barrows, a senior at Oxford Central School, will begin working for LW Morse and Sons Plumbing and Heating as a pipe fitter. Calvin Wheelock, a senior at Greene Central School, will join Cook's Sanitation and has recently earned his CDL-A Restricted License. In their essays, both students clearly explained how they would use the scholarship funds to purchase tools that will help them succeed in their new jobs.

We are incredibly proud of both recipients, and everyone we met spoke highly of them as well. They are truly deserving, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them as they begin their careers.

A special thank you to Bruce Elmore for contributing an additional $500 to this award in honor of his parents, Walt and Mary Elmore. Their family cared deeply about the BOCES programs, and he felt called to provide this extra support.

Congratulations, Blake and Calvin! Best wishes in all your future endeavors. Your hard work will continue to lead you to success!

It’s been brought to my attention by a couple people that my last post prompts a fb message when people click on it. It’s not our intentions and know that it is Facebook, not us, so please just ignore it. We apologize for any annoyance this may bring. 😅 I can’t figure out how to fix it without deleting the post.

It’s time for the annual T&K Harrington scholarship, and this year is extra special!

We are officially renaming the award, The Marlene Klock Memorial Award, to honor our Grandma Marlene, who was the heart of our family and a vital part of T&K.

We are also thrilled to announce a generous $500 donation from Bruce Elmore, bringing this year’s total to $1,500! Bruce’s contribution honors his parents, Mary and Walt Elmore, and their family's deep connection to BOCES.

We are so grateful to Bruce for his support in helping us honor Marlene’s legacy and the Elmore family. (Marlene with T&K Harrington staff in 2018- first photo. Mary & Walt Elmore in 2024- second photo. Application requirements- third photo)
