We recently helped a repeat customer figure out a creative way to keep her pup from digging in this flower bed. We planted the area with shade tolerate Southern Wood Fern and Golden Ragwort. We chose these specifically as they are native to the area and can tolerate sun and the shade under the deck. We finished the bed off with 3-5” River Jack that will hopefully keep the dog out 🤣🐶🐕

After an improperly installed base washed out of this flag stone landing, it was left uneven, not level, and a trip hazard. We fixed it by excavating 5” of soil, removing tree roots, installed 4” of compacted crushed stone base and a 1” bed of sand.
