Custom refinished for my friend Rachelle. This dark cherry hutch from the '90s was a challenge. Painting it was the easy part. The hard part was replacing the mirror backing and glass shelves with wood. Sanding the doors and interior was also trickier than I expected but worth it in the end.

Paint: Vintage Vogue, Benjamin Moore Advance Satin
Wood Oil: Rubio Monocoat 2C Pure
Interior Stain: 1.5 part Red Oak to 6 part Gunstock
Hardware: Schoolhouse- Newberg K**b

SOLD ! Such a cute little table!
The little carved details on the legs were too little to tape off so I ended up filling them with window stripping before painting. Voilà ! Seemed to work!

Bob's dad made this set of oak filing cabinets for us about 30 years ago. It was time for a refresh. They're going back in Bob's home office.

Customized for Tracie Bartlebaugh. These MCM Nightstands are part of her parent's bedroom set. Her girls took them to college and we all know how that goes... They needed lots of repair, new legs, and fresh stain.

💚 In honor of my friend Julie Hayn 💚
Dated 1920, I bought this cabinet at an estate sale about 20 years ago. Back then I painted it white and put it in my laundry room. I recently decided to strip it, add barn tile and repaint. I painted it emerald green in honor of my friend, Julie, who died this week after a 10 yr battle with cancer. When I heard she was on hospice, I was working on this piece. I spent the week in my work tent thinking of her and getting updates in between sanding and staining .. so this piece had to be her favorite color green! I was putting the finishing touches on it when I got word that she passed. 💚

Poly: Gloss oil

I made the mistake of sending this dresser to college with my oldest.. think "Animal House". It came back with a lot of missing veneer on the legs and was just overall pretty beat up. Anyway, it got a tune-up this week and I was pretty successful at patching the veneer. Everything looks better with a fresh coat of stain and poly.

SOLD: Printer Stand or Record Player Table or Drink Station. I have this oversized table for sale. I think it's too big for a nightstand. Disclaimer: I painted this about 4 years ago before I found and fell in love with Benjamin Moore's Acrylic Paint. This table is painted with chalk paint so it has a matte finish. The table is not an antique. I picked it up at Habitat Restore as an experiment to see if I liked using chalk paint or not. Anyway, it's solid and the GLASS TOP makes it very functional. This week, I touched up the paint, lined it with contact paper and changed out the hardware.
