Seriously—just look at where the water is going.

You’d be surprised how many problems start right there. If water is pooling near your foundation, spilling over gutters, or running back toward the house, that’s a red flag.

That kind of stuff doesn’t seem like a big deal at first… but over time it can turn into foundation issues, basement leaks, or even mold.

One simple thing to keep in mind: your yard should slope away from your house, not toward it. If it doesn’t, it’s worth fixing sooner rather than later.

It’s a small thing to check, but it can save you a lot of money down the road.
