Spray Polyurethane Foam is one of our star materials and it’s plain to see why so many WRI customers trust it...
There’s actually a lot of science behind this simple-looking material. When the two liquid components (Isocyanate and Polyol Resin blend) react, the foam expands and creates countless tiny cells that trap gas and help slow the movement of air through the building envelope. It’s especially useful on large-span roofs, like those found on schools, hospitals and commercial buildings, where different materials and structural elements can create areas where thermal bridging occurs. By creating a continuous protective barrier around these vulnerable areas, SPF can help reduce thermal bridging and improve the overall performance of the roof.
