What a great afternoon with our professional chimney cap installers. Had a great time talking about goals at lunch at a new to us restaurant. Then did some light ropes training at the climbing gym.

It’s that time again. Ropes and climbing training for the chimney cap installers of ccs. All week we get on the chimneys that no one else wants to and on our off days we test our upper body strength on the walls.

Update. Now that it’s the end of the week at the end of the day our power has been restored. No internet still but at least power.

Ours guys did a great job working with what we had this week. Very proud of team Carolina.

We’ve had a heck of a weekend. Our staff is all safe. Their homes are safe. Only losses have been food for most. Many of them lost power and all of their food. And still don’t have power. Just a couple don’t have water. I myself and my local families all do not have power at home. Our only real stress is not knowing when we will get power back on at work and home. Also our guys with no power at all will continuously have ti figure food out daily. Ccs will be making a plan for them with food and water. The great news is that resilience is part of what makes ccs culture so great. We will work as a team to continue to do what it takes for our team and our customers chimney caps. Also I’m assuming we will have new customers coming soon that we will provide the best service we can for them.

Happy Monday.

Just letting everyone on here know that we have been working on making a website that shows pictures of possibly chimney cap ideas without advertising ourselves so that our customers that install themselves can give it out to their customers without worrying about the customer trying to order straight from us.

We have just started uploading pictures. We do have hundreds on here already. But we still need to work on the ease of navigating the page. And we will continue to update over the next few months. However please check it out and give us your feedback.

Fellow chimney cap manufacturers, please feel free to send us any pictures of styles you would like to push if you would like. The idea is this is a way to showcase designs for and customer to choose from. Not to market Carolina chimney or ccs elite fab.

We have just recently started a new training method that is also pretty darn fun. Each month our install crew gets together to climb at project rock in Easley.

So far our whole company is still on the beginner climbing courses. But after going twice now I feel that each month we will continue to get better and who knows maybe we will be able to do the hardest courses in the future.

Our customers already think we are great at the heights we get. So now we will show ourselves how good we can get.
