This is the side of lawn care that the general public doesn’t want to know about or doesn’t care to think about. I’m not complaining. I’m just making a post for to help enlighten, or maybe just share my perspective a little bit. It’s 9:30 PM. I started work this morning at 7:30 A.M at 6:10 PM. I drove from my last clients property to try and catch the last 40 minutes of my children’s soccer game. I never got to see them this morning before I left for work, I ate dinner with them quickly after soccer and one child begged to ride home with me just so we could hang out a little bit. It’s strait back to the shop to fix some neglected and damaged stuff on my mowers and sharpen blades to get ready for tomorrow. I’ll likely come inside tonight around 10 PM. This is not every day but it’s a lot of days from March till September. This is why your local lawn care guy has to charge a bare minimum of $55-60 for a cookie cutter Lawn. That’s also why he’s $100 plus on your acre plus lawns. I had a potential client a few weeks ago. Try to tell me my quote was too high because I would be making. X amount of money in a certain amount of time. That’s not how it works…. Things break. Gas is still floating around $4 a gallon if you don’t maintain your equipment on a regular basis, it breaks even if you do maintain it. It’s still breaks. I’m not just speaking about myself. I’m speaking about all the Lawn guys that show up day in and day out. Through the WHOLE season. (Not the $30-40 guys who disappear when the weather hits 90 degrees) like I said, I’m not making this post to complain just to help spread awareness that when someone shows up to your yard and they’re only there for 45 minutes and they make $60 that’s not $60 in their pocket. That’s sacrificed family time that’s having to leave from a job to go to the parts store in the middle of their workday getting even further behind than when you started the day, that is what you are paying for, not just those fresh cut lines on your lawn. I am thankful and blessed to be this busy, but I also just wanted to share what was on my heart. Message or text me with any of your lawn care and yard needs! This is a public service announcement! If I cut your grass on a regular basis and you want your lawn cut before the Fourth of July so that’s your yard is nice and crispy for the holiday, please do not wait till July third to ask me to come out. I’ll do everything within my power if you want your grass cut before the holiday to get that done but if you wait until Wednesday or Thursday to ask, I’m going to have to politely decline.

I will come out early Friday morning, per request, but it will be up charged on a holiday pay scale .

I want to brag on my God and my Tribe. After I made the post yesterday requesting prayer. Everyone showed immense support and called on God on my behalf. NOT ONCE did I throw up or dry heave after that point!!! Aside from Covid this heat exhaustion/dehydration has laid me down about the hardest I’ve ever been in my life, 15 pounds down in two days. You guys absolutely blew up my phone to the point where I could not answer every single call! People have called/text constantly checking in for the last two days offering anything and everything. Ive had people offer to come cut my clients yards for me. I’ve had people bring me soup, I’ve had people bring me medecine, I’ve had multiple offers for people to bring me stuff that a sick person needs. I had a dear friend ride by my house and see my yard needed cut and didnt even ask, just showed up and took care of what he saw needed attention 🙏🏻🙌🏻😭. I can not thank you guys enough for checking in on me. I can not thank you enough for your prayers, as a man it naturally comes hard for me to ask for help, but I’m sure glad I did. from the very bottom of my heart… THANK YOU! 😭 love you guys.

Ps. If I service your lawn I’m also taking today off possibly tomorrow. Even though I’ve taken in more fluids then I think I ever have in my life I’m still experiencing some cramping. I appreciate each and everyone one of my clients. I might not have the most clients in the upstate area but i guarantee you I have the best! One client text me yesterday requesting an update and said the whole block is praying for you! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Hey guys, the heat/humidity the last two days has been nothing to play with. It’s landed me in here with heat exhaustion/dehydration. I’m doing a lot better with getting the proper amount of fluids my body needs. So with that being said this started yesterday so I am running a few days behind. TAKE IT EASY OUT THERE GUYS! I’ll be back after it after a few days just be patient with me guys and I’ll get you taken care of!

He won’t win any beauty pageant or best dressed gentlemen, but I’ll tell you what he will do. there’s not many, if any men that I know that would work 12 hours on night shift then come straight to work with me till 5 P.m and have to go straight back to night shift! Thank you so much for help bailing me out of hole the weather buried me in! My brother is a one of a kind guy and he’s also starting his own Lawn care and pressure washing company serving Laurens Greenville and Spartanburg Counties.
