100,000 BEE'S 🐝

We ran into a unique and unreal situation on a large walnut removal, uncovering a hord of bee's on an old hive.

Our origional plan going into this was to remove a large and aging walnut next to the house and plan for a small hive that was obvious through a small hole at the base.

We had no idea this walnut would turn out to have a large hollowed out cavity with a massive hive inside that only became obvious when we made our final felling cuts.

Thankful to have our beekeeper Jeremy Woelfle onsite with us to help us manage the situation, conduct onsite recovery and relocation of the bee's, and impliment proper post hive ecological damage control.

His opinion is that this is the largest hive inside of a tree that he has ever seen.

We've upgraded our fleet.

For the past two years, our Wacker stand-up mini loader has been a reliable workhorse. But as we’ve grown, its limitations have become clear—turf damage and restricted lift capacity weren’t cutting it anymore.

We have invested into a new Avant 645i loader to help us set a new professional standard for our company. This upgrade means faster material movement, safer operations, and better lawn protection. That translates to fewer post-project restorations, gives a more professional outcome on every job, and set's us up to work in tandum with the next large capital investment we have in the works for next year.

More than new equipment, this will be the foundation for our growth infrastructure over the next 12–48 months. We’re building systems and making investments that scale without compromise.

It has been an extremely fast paced last few weeks, and we are proud to see all of the local tree companies coming out to help the local communities recover quickly with storm related cleanups.

From completing our largest project of removing a mix of 7 massive spruces/hemlocks manually in tight spaces, to getting rocked by the destructive windy weather, to then completing multiple hazardous removal projects from structures, to catching and removing an actively splitting maple that was actively attempting to fail onto a homeowners carport.

We want to thank all of our clients and supporters for staying flexible with us as we navigate through the chaos.

We still have a few more rooftop extraction projects and storm damage cleanups to complete, and then we will be back to working through our regular schedule within about a week or two.

Looking for a free evaluation? We are still accepting and completeing quotes, and our current timeline is tentatively mid-end september for newly scheduled projects.

A very large Swamp Oak crushed this structure in Newark.

With no other large tree's to work off of in the surrounding area, and the weight of the oak crushing the garage, we organized an immediate emergency crane extraction to help this homeowner mitigate further damage and get moving on their remediation process without delay.

Please be patient with your tree guys, we are working as fast as we can to support the needs of the local community.

This large oak was struck by a bolt of lightening.

The homeowner was sitting at her living room window then went to sleep. 20 minutes later, the side of the tree exploded, blowing out the front living room with debris.

It was a very close call for the homeowner and definitley a God situation that the home and tree were the only things harmed.

The tree split itself apart with each cut along the trunk, and we're blessed to have the crane and top tier arborist resources to tackle critical removals like this in within a day's work.

Knocking out a 13 hour day taking care of 4 urgent removal projects with todays 4 man crew around the Granville area.

We will be back at it again tomorrow and again appreciate our regular schedules patience and flexibility for us prioritizing these emergency projects.
