Something we’ve been noticing in Granville homes lately — high water pressure.

We’ve checked several homes with pressure around 90–100+ PSI and have also repaired failed connections and split water lines.

High pressure can put extra stress on plumbing, faucets, toilets, water heaters and appliances. Sometimes a simple pressure check can catch the problem before it turns into a much bigger repair.

If you’re in Granville and aren’t sure about your home’s water pressure, let us know. We’d be happy to take a look.

A few weeks ago, this was a stack of lumber, a pile of hardware, and a vision. 🔨

Now? An 18’ x 26’ custom-built gazebo that will become the centerpiece of an incredible backyard transformation.

From setting the first posts to framing the trusses, installing the decorative king-post details, heavy-duty black timber hardware, and finishing it off with a metal roof—every piece of this structure was built with intention.

This project is part of a much larger outdoor living space that will eventually include a custom pool and outdoor kitchen. Other contractors are bringing those pieces to life, and CMAC was brought in to design and build the structure that helps tie the entire space together.

And THIS is the kind of work we love.

Taking something from an idea on paper, figuring out how to build it right, and creating something that isn’t just beautiful—but solid, functional, and built to be enjoyed for years to come.

Definitely one of our favorite builds to date. 👏

📣 A Quick Note from CMAC Home Solutions

For the next week, our family will be spending most of our time at the fair supporting our kids and all the hard work they’ve put in this year. 🐷🐓🎡

Cell service at the fairgrounds can be limited, so responses to messages, quote requests, and scheduling may take us a little longer than usual. We’ll be checking in and responding whenever we can, but CMAC will essentially be taking a little time away this week to be present with our kids.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we soak up this week with them. 🧡

If you reach out, we will get back to you — it just may not be as quickly as usual.

Thank you for supporting our small, family-run business and allowing us the space to support our kids, too.

🧡 RAPID FIRE WITH JESSICA!

You’ve met Chase. You’ve met Steve. And apparently now it’s my turn. 😂

Chase took over the questions and put me in the hot seat for this round of Rapid Fire!

A little less home improvement and a little more getting to know the people behind CMAC Home Solutions. 🧡🖤

Happy Friday from the CMAC crew! 🔨

There’s something satisfying about watching a project come together from the ground up.

This 14’ × 14’ cabin addition started with a new floor system and has quickly transformed into a weather-tight structure. Over the past several days we completed:

🔨 Floor framing & subfloor
🔨 Wall framing
🔨 Hand-framed 12/12 rafter roof
🔨 LP SmartSide siding and exterior trim
🔨 Metal roofing and trim package
🔨 Window and exterior door installation

Every project is built with the same attention to detail, whether it’s a small repair or a full addition. Taking the time to lay everything out correctly, frame it square, and finish it clean is what sets a quality build apart.

We’re looking forward to seeing this addition finished and blending seamlessly with the existing cabin.

If you’ve been thinking about adding onto your home, building a cabin, or tackling a major renovation, we’d love the opportunity to earn your business.

📍 Proudly serving Licking County and surrounding areas.

🧡 Meet the Crew: Jessica

If Chase is the muscle… I’m the energy. ✨

Behind the scenes, I wear a lot of hats—social media, scheduling, (soon) the accounting, talking through big decisions with Chase, dreaming about where CMAC is headed next, and making sure we never lose sight of who we are.

Chase likes to say I’m the one who keeps everyone in line, holds the back end together, and makes sure people know who CMAC Home Solutions really is.

My favorite part isn’t any of those jobs though.

It’s building this business with Chase.

Watching him grow, helping homeowners feel educated instead of pressured, and making sure every family we work with feels respected from the very first phone call to the final walkthrough.

To me, a home is more than drywall, flooring, or paint.

It’s where life happens.

So while Chase is busy transforming houses, I’m usually behind the scenes making sure we’re building a business rooted in integrity, communication, and people first.

Thanks for following along and supporting this dream of ours. We couldn’t do it without you. 🧡🖤

Finished up a bathroom floor and trim install, repaired drywall cracks and painted a large vaulted living room, and completed a really cool fireplace transformation — taking an old unusable fireplace and turning it into a warm, updated brick feature wall with an electric insert.

Projects like this are a good reminder that a few updates can completely change the feel of a home.

Grateful for the work, the trust, and the chance to keep building something of my own.
