Did you join us for any of last year’s classes? From garden prep and Sourdough 101 to taper candle making, we loved getting together and learning something new!

Now we want to hear from YOU! What would you love to learn this winter? More gardening, baking, handmade home goods, or something completely different?

Drop your ideas in the comments! We’d love to plan classes you’re excited to be part of. 🌿

🍂 With all the rain we’ve had and more on the way, here are a few things to keep in mind in your garden this fall!

🌧️ Watch for standing water. Too much water can damage plant roots, especially in areas with poor drainage.

💧 Give your sprinklers a break. Cooler weather and fall rain mean your plants may not need as much extra watering. Check your soil before turning them on!

🍂 Make the most of fallen leaves. Leaves can add nutrients to your soil as they break down, but avoid letting thick, wet layers smother your lawn or plants.

🌱 A little fall care goes a long way in helping your garden prepare for winter!

Last fall, I started gathering leaves, branches, and garden debris to fill these garden boxes and create a rich compost base. 🌿

And look how it paid off!

This spring and summer, these boxes produced so many beautiful flowers and delicious crops. A little work in the fall made such a difference when growing season came around.

Sometimes the best gardens start long before anything is planted. 🤍

10 days spent in Europe, and one of the sweetest lessons from our trip came from a garden. 🌿

While visiting a mental health facility in Italy, we learned how important green spaces, fresh air, and beautiful gardens can be in the healing process.

They had a rose garden, chosen for a reason. Roses are all different, they take patience and consistent care, and once established, they flourish.

Just like people. 🌹

It was such a beautiful reminder of why gardens matter and how much we can learn from the things we grow.

A little European inspiration we’re bringing home to Cooley Blooms! ❤️

The garden is starting to wind down, and it’s hard to believe how much life this little porch has held all summer. 🌿

Through the heat, the long days, and even the lack of water, it stayed lively and full of growth. It’s something special to watching a garden change with the seasons—and even as things slow down, I’m already looking forward to what next year will bring.

A little reminder that gardens don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. 🤍

Our watermelon has officially made the journey from vine to counter, and we are LOVING it! 🍉

There’s nothing more satisfying than growing something from a tiny seed, watching it take over the garden, and finally getting to bring it inside and enjoy it. Nothing beats garden-fresh watermelon! 🌱

Well… I guess the deer wanted to leave us a little garden review. 😂

A little deer p**p here, a completely demolished watermelon there… I’d say it’s safe to say the watermelon got their stamp of approval. 🍉

Thanks to our four-legged garden visitors for letting us know just how yummy it was!

One of the best parts of growing your own food?

Walking into your kitchen with more produce than you know what to do with. 😂🌱

Tomatoes, peppers, onions, squash, watermelon… when the garden really starts producing, you have to get creative!

We love finding ways to use what we grow, share it with friends, and enjoy every bit of the harvest.

What’s been your biggest garden producer this year?
