Wrapped up a pour at Petoskey High School in Northern Michigan. 🏈

The problem: water sheeting off the concrete walkway and surrounding slopes with nowhere to go. The school kept concrete down the middle so buggies and maintenance vehicles can still get to the football field. We poured Porous Pave along the edges to catch the runoff.

The concrete and landscape both slope into the Porous Pave, so it works like a French drain built right into the walkway. Water goes down instead of pooling up.

5,800 gallons per hour, per square foot. 27% void space. Made in Grant, Michigan from recycled tires.

175,000 pounds of rubber. 88 pallets. Twinsburg, Ohio.

Hand loading 50 pound bags for that volume would have destroyed the crew before the pour even started.

Instead we are running an auto-metering hopper that hits a timer, measures 83 seconds, and drops exactly 200 pounds of rubber into the mixer every single cycle.

Equipment doing the heavy work so the crew can focus on the pour. This is how you scale a job without burning out your team.

Day two in Twinsburg, Ohio. Just over 6,000 square feet of Porous Pave connecting Liberty Park to the dog park and this community already knows what they are getting.

There is a trail just down the road that has been down for 12 years and they liked it so much they came back for another one. That is the real product review.

Flexible rubber that feels good on your joints, does not crack through freeze-thaw cycles, and keeps performing long after asphalt and concrete have given up.
