A huge thank you to everyone who attended, engaged, and brought great questions to the table. We spent the session exploring advanced VFD technology, practical troubleshooting, real-world examples with demo units, and strategies to optimize system efficiency and reliability for industrial operations.

For more than four decades, Trent Hamil has been a cornerstone of Illinois Electric Works and the industry it serves. Beginning his career in 1984 under the guidance of Dale Hamil in East St. Louis, Trent quickly distinguished himself through his dedication, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
As the last of the six owners who carried Illinois Electric Works forward prior to its buyout in 2023, Trent represents not only the legacy of the company but also the spirit of perseverance and leadership that defined its success. His journey reflects the values of hard work, integrity, and service—qualities that have left a lasting mark on colleagues, customers, and the broader industrial community.
Trent’s contributions span generations of progress in electrical and mechanical services. His steady hand and vision helped guide Illinois Electric Works through times of change, ensuring that the company remained a trusted name in the field. More than his professional achievements, Trent is remembered for the respect he showed to others, the mentorship he offered to younger professionals, and the pride he took in carrying forward the tradition of service.
Today, we honor Trent Hamil not only for his role in shaping Illinois Electric Works but also for his enduring impact on the industry. His legacy is one of leadership, loyalty, and lasting influence—a legacy that will continue to inspire long after his tenure.

We wish you a very long and happy retirement!
