Asphalt millings are kind of an underrated driveway upgrade.
Gravel just sits there as loose rock — millings still have asphalt binder in them, so once they're compacted they actually lock together into a tight, hard surface. That means no mud pumping up in the spring, way less dust, and it just looks better — more like a real paved driveway instead of scattered gravel.
Bonus: it's recycled material, so it only exists when old asphalt gets torn out somewhere. Not something you can just order up whenever.
