Behind the scenes: Fort Madison 📍

The problem: A crack in the basement wall — a sign of foundation settlement, usually caused by soil shifting and losing its ability to support the wall evenly.

The fix: Push piers driven down to bedrock (or a stable soil layer) to stabilize the foundation and take the pressure off that wall for good — not a patch job, a permanent fix.

Congratulations to Natalie Evans of Immanuel Lutheran School, our September Cash in for Schools in winner! The $2,500 grant will help support the school's Free Little Pantry.

The pantry offers food, hygiene products, and household items to anyone in the community who needs them. Students help maintain and stock the pantry all year long.

From building and repairing to sorting, cleaning, organizing, donating, and lending a helping hand, our teams spent the day working alongside local organizations and the people who make our communities stronger.

As a Sales Manager in Wichita, Jake spends his days building a strong team, developing people, and helping his team grow both personally and professionally. He’s also taken on the challenge of building a sales team from the ground up, while adapting to new technology and finding better ways to serve homeowners.

Community Day Spotlight: Sioux City 🌿💙

This summer, more than 680 Thrasher employees came together across 9 cities for our annual Community Day, completing 17 projects to give back to the communities we call home.

Today, we're looking at Sioux City, where our team spent the day giving some much-needed TLC to the trail and area surrounding the First Bride's Grave.

The trail had become overgrown in several areas and was filled with debris, including broken glass. Our team spent the day clearing overgrowth, picking up trash, and cleaning up the area around the gravesite.

The trail is enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikers, and community members looking to take in the scenery, and several members of our own Sioux City team have enjoyed the area over the years.

It may not have been the biggest project of the day, but it was a great reminder that sometimes making an impact simply means taking the time to care for the places our communities enjoy.

We're proud of our Sioux City team for showing up, getting to work, and leaving this local trail a little cleaner and more welcoming than they found it. 💙

Before & after: Springfield 📍

The problem: Moisture in the crawlspace was causing sagging floors, and inside the home, the tile floors were cracking as a direct result.

The fix: We encapsulated and sealed the crawlspace with a liner, added a sump system and dehumidifier, and sealed every vent -- so the wood could dry out and the floors could be repaired for good.

Meet Mel and Alex from Stonebrook’s HR team! 👋 They’re hanging out at Thrasher Foundation Repair’s HQ in Papillion for the Disrupt HR Metro Omaha event—and posing in front of a little piece of Stonebrook history.

Fun fact: Stonebrook Exterior installed the zinc flat-lock and HV90 corrugated panel systems on this building back in 2016. We love a good full-circle moment!
