Meet Anthony.

He’s been with Top Tier for about a year, but plumbing has been around him a lot longer than that. His dad is a plumber, so getting his hands dirty and learning the trade came pretty naturally.

He’s already got some stories too… including one job where someone flushed a toilet while he was working on the mainline and everything backed up right where he was working. 😂

Right now his goal is simple: keep learning, get more certifications and become better at the trade.

That’s what we want around here. Guys who want to grow, learn and actually enjoy what they do.

Out in Norco for a slab leak that started with something as simple as warm floors near the kitchen sink.

After checking it out, we found a hot water line leaking underneath the slab.

We temporarily rerouted the line to get the homeowner taken care of, and now we’re going back through to replace more of the problem areas we found, including some pretty heavy calcium buildup.

We kept the reroute as clean and non-invasive as possible and got them back up and running.

Meet Franklin.

He got into plumbing because a friend he used to work construction with told him to give it a shot.

Five and a half years later, he’s still doing it and still enjoying the work.

For Franklin, the best part is never knowing exactly what the day is going to bring. Different homes, different customers, different problems to figure out.

That’s what keeps it interesting.

Out here in Ontario at a commercial building with three bathrooms backing up.

We cleared the blockage first, then ran the camera and found the original cast iron had a lot of buildup.

Came back with the jetter to clean the line up and get a better look. There’s still quite a bit of buildup, so next step is either descaling it or replacing the line.

Before we cut into anything, we need to know exactly where that drain is going.

On this job we used red food coloring to test the drains and confirm which line we needed to tie into for the grease line.

Simple test, but it saves a lot of guessing and helps make sure we’re cutting into the right line the first time.

We were called for a backed-up bathtub, a problem other companies couldn't solve within budget. After running a cable, it's still not draining. We might need to check underneath the house for a broken pipe. The tub and sinks are affected. We'll try a camera inspection first to pinpoint the exact issue.
