Taking shape in a quiet bayou in Spring Lake. The steel structure is in place, cantilevered decks built, and framing is completed. Stone is underway on the exterior. Inside, the back-to-back dual fireplaces serves the dining room and living room – creating a warm and cozy space in a house of glass and exposed steel.

The finishing touches are nearly complete on our Gaslight Village home, and soon it will be ready for the family to enjoy. From the double-sided fireplace connecting the living and dining spaces to stained beams and shiplap ceilings throughout the main floor, every detail was designed to feel comfortable and inviting. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a quiet retreat with vaulted ceilings and a spacious window seat. The dark stained rift-cut oak wood paneled family den is a cozy place for movie and game nights.

Upstairs, three private bedroom suites and a playroom create space for family. Designed with family and entertaining in mind, the lower level boasts a family room, game room, golf simulator, and a guest suite.

This whole-home renovation gives new life to a 100-year-old Lake Michigan cottage shaped by generations of summer memories. The reimagined interior focuses on lake views, with a custom wood entry door opening into a former porch transformed into a sitting and dining space. An expanded kitchen and beverage bar connect to the family room, while the breezeway is a highly functional mudroom, laundry, pantry, and craft space. Outside, new windows, siding, and roof refresh the cottage while preserving its timeless character.
