What started as a solution to a parking challenge became an opportunity to create something more at Abode West Fulton.

By thinking beyond the original design, we were able to turn a parking structure into a 7,000 SF rooftop amenity deck, while using precast concrete to bring greater efficiency and predictability to construction.

The industry says a Project Manager manages a schedule and a budget.

At Construction Simplified, we think that's underselling the job. Here, a Project Manager helps own the client relationship, leads the team, and partners with a Site Manager who's just as invested in the outcome. Two leaders, one job, because complex projects don't get built by one person carrying it alone. You're accountable for the budget and the schedule, yes. But you're also the person an owner calls for a straight answer, and the person who works out how a hard problem gets solved with the Site Manager, not who to escalate it to.

Some projects are worth another look, and MidVilla Flats is one of them!

As Middleville's first new apartment community in nearly 20 years, MidVilla Flats added 144 residences to the growing community.

The development was three years in the making, with our team serving as Construction Manager alongside Dutch Developers LLC from early planning through final ex*****on.

Step one of a successful project often happens before design begins.

Before anything is drawn, it helps to answer a few big questions. Can the site support what you need? What will it realistically cost, and how long will it take? Does the return, whether that's revenue, growth, or community impact, match the investment?

Answering them early takes a fraction of the time and cost of a full set of drawings, and it gives owners and their design teams a clear, confident starting point.

That's why we start with feasibility: early budgets, schedule targets, and ROI or funding scenarios, so you know a project has traction before you invest in design.

Last week we wrapped up the summer BBQ portion of our Connection Series, and with just one event left, we're getting ready to wrap up the 2026 series as a whole!

If you've joined us at any point throughout the year, thank you for being part of it. And a big thank you to each of our speakers for sharing their time, experiences, and perspectives with us. We've loved having the opportunity to bring people together throughout the year and are already looking forward to more in 2027.
