We are forever grateful for the effort our team puts forth everyday. From the burning sun of July to the icy winds of January, our team shows up everyday with all they have. The easy days are hard and the hard days are almost intolerable, but no matter what, our team gets the job done. Without them, we would not be Team DJ.

The second shipment of our deicing salt has reached the dock.

We began preparing before the last snow pile even melted. Planning started coming together in July, when our first salt vessel arrived. Now, as we roll into Labor Day Weekend, we're actively executing our snow plan.

This latest shipment brought in another large supply of treated salt, which will keep our clients safe even in the most frigid blizzards. We have more materials in transit, and over the next few weeks we'll double our supplies, ensuring our clients are covered even in the heaviest winters.

We planned. Now we execute.

As we roll out of August and into the first month of what many of us deem fall, our team makes sure to continue our focused care for each of our clients. We are on the descent into the snow-filled months but we always like to finish the season better than we started. The first day of the week is an the opportunity to start fresh for our clients, our team and ourselves. It is the day we shake off the issues we found last week, leaving them behind us as we look forward to the solutions we will certainly find in the week ahead. That is what we do as a team. We never stop thinking about winter!

From the minute the last flake melts, we already are preparing for the next snow season. We think about our clients all year and the best way we can serve them in the winter season is to be constantly prepared. We do so by assessing our equipment, amassing thousands of tons of salt, getting our team trained up, keeping an eye on potential snow employees or subcontractors. Preparation leads to readiness and readiness leads to efficient snow and ice mitigation.

When it comes to winter, we never stop thinking about it and that is why our clients trust us to meet their needs every snow season!

When we say complete landscape services, we mean literally.

For example, Team Members from our Ann Arbor branch were laser grading a baseball field last week in Metro Detroit. In fact, they run the same equipment as the maintenance crews in the MLB. Our Athletic Maintenance Division does this for a variety of school districts throughout eastern Michigan. Athletics maintenance takes a high degree of skill, precision and passion, something we like to think we bring to each of our clients.

So, quite literally, we do it all when it comes to maintaining landscapes throughout our markets!
