"Strong communities are built when people come together." We're proud to share that Patrick King of our Muskegon branch is living this sentiment as he joins the Board of Directors for United Way of the Lakeshore!
Please join us in welcoming Patrick King to the United Way of the Lakeshore Board of Directors! Patrick serves as a Service & Energy Consultant with Andy J. Egan and has been involved with United Way for the past three years after a friend invited him to join a volunteer team. What started as a chance to give back quickly became a passion for serving the Lakeshore community.
When asked why he chose to serve on the Board, Patrick shared:
"I joined the United Way of the Lakeshore Board of Directors because I believe in strengthening our local community and supporting organizations that create meaningful, lasting impact."
Patrick is especially passionate about supporting veterans and their families and is already lending his time to the Veterans History Project committee. Whether he's volunteering at community events or helping move important initiatives forward, he believes that real change happens when people work together.
His words capture that spirit perfectly:
"Strong communities are built when people come together."
We're grateful to have Patrick's leadership, heart for service, and commitment to our community as we continue building a stronger Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana County.
Welcome to the Board, Patrick!
