Now is a great time to get the lawn out of dormancy, and revive signs of heat stress. It will be cooler over the next few days, and watering now, will go a long way. It is a lot easier to stay ahead of keeping the grass from being scorched, then to bring it back from being dormant, from excessive drought.

Quick Tips:
-Water sun areas longer and heavier than shaded areas
-Watering early morning, or late afternoon produces excellent results
-Watering overnight can cause fungus growth and fungus related diseases
-Light watering and infrequent watering can cause the grass to grow shallow roots

This is the Lyme Disease map from 2015. Talking with local residents in Caledonia Michigan, neighbors have already have had to remove multiple ticks, especially baby ticks, from their outdoor pets. Late April and early May, are our expected tick "boom" time. Make sure to wear insect control that prevents tick bites, and wear protective clothing. It is also imperative to seek these blood suckers out on animals, as soon as they enter the home. Also, showering right after being outdoors helps wash away ticks that may still be on that body, that have not started feeding yet.
